COVID and Wise Institute

We hope you and your family are staying well. As the COVID-19 situation evolves, we endeavour to keep you updated on the most recent developments at the practice and the services we offer. We have introduced video and telephone consultations, making appointments with your psychologist easily accessible form anywhere.

Safety is our priority

Your safety and wellbeing, and that of our staff and community is our priority. We are following NSW health guidelines and have taken extra precautions with the delta outbreak. As face-to-face consultations are conducted in enclosed rooms, for your peace of mind, our staff have taken the following steps:

  • We are all fully vaccinated
  • We will continue to offer Zoom and phone appointments indefinitely
  • We will wear KN95 / N95 masks when in the clinic
  • We will complete a COVID screener symptom check before coming into the clinic
  • We have an COVIDSafe plan which includes a risk management and response plan should we have a positive COVID incident in the clinic.
  • We have developed ways to deliver effective treatments at each level of vaccination status.

When face-to-face appointments become available, please continue to:

  • Check continue to consider if you have had a fever, cough, loss of smell, been in contact with someone suspected of COVID-19, or are awaiting diagnosis for COVID-19 yourself.
  • Advise via text that you need to use Zoom / phone when you endorse an item on the checklist
  • Check in using the COVID QR Code
  • Wear a mask at all times when in the clinic
