Alyssa Dionysopoulos
Clinical Psychologist
Alyssa is a warm and compassionate clinical psychologist, motivated to help individuals meet their personal goals and improve their quality of life. She uses a collaborative, strength-based approach in her sessions and values the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients.
With almost a decade of experience, Alyssa has worked across various mental health care settings including NGOs, the public health system, private practice and in-patient settings. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in both individual and group-based settings. Alyssa is passionate about supporting clients with a range of clinical presentations, including anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment issues, stress, grief and loss, among others.
Alyssa uses a range of evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) to tailor treatments to her client’s needs.
Alyssa is available for both telehealth and face-to-face appointments.
