Anisha is a dedicated psychologist whose utmost priority is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to be vulnerable, self-reflect, and explore their personal challenges. Anisha takes a holistic and compassionate approach to therapy, drawing on her strong commitment to supporting adults, adolescents, children, and families navigate the complexities of mental health.
With experience spanning Macquarie University Psychology Clinic, Blacktown Hospital, Brolga Child & Adolescent Inpatient Unit at Hornsby Hospital, and Child and Youth Mental Health Services, Anisha has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups. Her proficiency includes treating Depression and Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Trauma Disorders, Suicidality and Self-Harm, Self-Esteem and Identity Issues, Emotional and Behavioural Dysregulation, Sleeping Difficulties, Interpersonal Relationship Challenges, Study or Work-Related Stress, and General Life Stressors.
Anisha integrates a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Trauma-Informed CBT, Schema Therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She also has experience in conducting psychological assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Disorders, and Giftedness.
Guided by the principles of empathy, empowerment, and authenticity, alongside a commitment to critical thinking and evidence-based practice, Anisha fosters a therapeutic environment that inspires growth and lasting change. She is deeply inspired by the Japanese concept of ikigai—one’s reason for being—and seeks to support her clients in discovering a purposeful and meaningful life.
Outside of work, Anisha enjoys baking, spending time outdoors, connecting with close family and friends, and indulging her love for food!
